The Watershed Council is dedicated to protecting and improving the state’s water resources. A non-profit organization, working collaboratively with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to address various issues related to water quality and watershed health.
We welcome environmental planners from the Clinton River Watershed Council to share how we can capture storm water, save money on our water bills and use it in our gardens and lawns using Rain Barrels and Rain Gardens. Rain Garden design, plant choices and resources will be reviewed and discussed. A Pleasant Ridge Garden that participated in the Oakland County Rainsmart program will be featured.
Snacks supplied.
